{Sarah Pluister}

What is your favorite childhood memory of your dad?
A road trip just the two of us to California.  We had a camper attached to his yellow truck and I could climb through the truck back window into the camper- back before seat belt laws.  My dad had a great bushy blond beard.  And I am pretty sure he was wearing light blue skinny corduroy pants on this trip.

Most poignant goal for the next five years?
To become a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor

What is your favorite item of clothing?
My black leggings- I have always taken a liking to stretch pants

If you could stop only one injustice what would it be?
Poverty and child sex trafficking- can't choose- both weigh heavy on me

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Bonn, Germany- lived there for three years in early twenties, would go back in heartbeat.  Radler on the Rhine river- amazing (Radler = beer + Sprite)

What is your favorite thing to chew?
Trident Mint Bliss

If you could only do one thing every day for the rest of your life what would it be?
Reading (with latte AM, glass of red wine PM)

When you think of adventure what comes to mind?
Life with little kids- having the adventure now!!

What is the most listened-to song on your iPod (or other music listening device)?
Hillsong's Oceans- I listen to this over and over- also, anything Sara Groves is a close second

What do you wish you were better at?
Math- only in this season of taking a Statistics - not my gifting AT ALL!

How has God blessed you this week?
Him waiting for me in the morning on my green couch

What event changed your life?
Losing student in horrific death in youth program I was working with during summer of college.  Walking mother and community through grief.  First experience of vulnerability with deep pain.  God used this experience in my calling of becoming a counselor.
